Canada Day At Heritage Park
Unfortunately I didn’t have time to spend the whole day down at Heritage park, but I managed to go down and catch the last act as well as some of the fireworks. There were a lot of kids there, so I imagine many of the acts were kid friendly. Plus, there seemed to be a lot of people eating popcorn and french fries, the perfect foods for an outdoor music event.
The last fireworks show I saw was the Celebration of Light in Vancouver, and by comparison obviously the Chilliwack ones were way smaller. I would have liked to see a shorter show with bigger combinations of fireworks, but still, the fireworks were pretty cool and the kids loved them.
Getting out of Heritage park took about 20 minutes, as the police were directing traffic. But all in all, a good event to attend if you’re in Chilliwack on Canada looking for something to do.
