Chilliwack Web Design
While I don’t technically have an office (who does nowadays?), I am a full time web developer for a company I co-own called BraveNewCode. My partner is a guy named Dale who lives out in Hamilton, Ontario. We spend a good portion of our days doing work together over iChat, and have special cell-phone plans that let us talk to each other whenever we want without worrying about long distance charges. While I sometimes work from home, it’s just as likely you’ll run into me at a local coffee shop, or when the weather’s nice, a pub with wi-fi.
While we don’t cater specifically to the Chilliwack area, it would be cool to do a few local projects around here now that I’m around. Some of the recent work we’ve completed includes Jessie Farrell’s website, FarmFed, a redevelopment of Matthew Good’s website (based on his design), the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, and a few others that are listed in our portfolio. We have a few more sites coming out in the next month or so, at which point we’ll update our portfolio and take a well deserved break.
If you’re also into web design or development around here, drop me a line and I’ll update this post. I know there are a few people lurking in the shadows, so step out into the light and introduce yourself.

Thanks for dropping me a line about this blog post Duane. I’ve been living in Chilliwack for a few years now and do full time web design and development. I work full time for Insight for Living Canada and freelance in my off time.
I mainly work with WordPress sites and have done a few local sites like Fraser Valley Whitewater.
I’d also love to meet a few other locals in the field maybe out for a coffee at Decades.
I think there must be a lot of us ‘lurking in the shadows’; I would also love to meet up with other local designers. I do freelance graphic and web design, lately starting to work more and more with CMS sites. Some of my recent clients were Fresh Design, Chilliwack Learning Community Society, and Farmers’ Market Canada.
