Garrison Village

I went down to Garrison Village today to take a look around, and also scope out some office space. It’s really hard to gauge 900 square feet when the construction is still ongoing. I’m still debating what to do, but it sounds like the rent in the area has been reduced a bit more, which makes it a bit more enticing.

I did however learn about some of the tenants in the area. Here’s a partial list of what’s been leased already:

The freestanding structure in the center of Garrison Village will be Waves Coffee, the first of its kind in Chilliwack
Subway is going in the end unit directly behind Waves
A dental office
There’s a wine and liquor store across from Coopers and kitty corner to Waves

I’m pretty sure a few more names were dropped, but I can’t remember at this point.

Given how often I work from coffee shops, I imagine I’ll be frequenting Waves fairly often. I sure hope they put in free wi-fi though.
