Advertising
InTheWack.com is a growing community site dedicated to Chilliwack people, businesses, and life out here in the Fraser Valley. While the current format is that of a community blog, over the summer this site will transition to a full-featured social network, similar to Facebook.
There are currently several options available for advertising on this site. In addition to the dedicated, monthly advertising options below, we’ll also try and give occasional shout-outs to our followers on Twitter.
125×125 Banner Ads
The 125 pixel by 125 pixel banner advertisements are currently available at a price of $100/month. Each spot is dedicated, and will not share rotation with any other advertisements (although the placement of each advertisement will be random for fairness). There are currently six (6) of these advertising spots available each month.
Featured Sites
Underneath the 125px by 125px banner advertisement area in the sidebar is a list of six featured sites. These sites are represented by text hyperlinks, and are available at a cost of $50/month. These spots are dedicated for the purchased time, although the positions will be random. If you’d like to purchase a link in the Featured Sites section, please click here.
There are currently ten (10) of these advertising spots available each month.
Inline Advertisements
There are various options for advertising directly in posts on the site. These advertisements are 250×200 pixels wide, and are available at a cost of $50/month. Sponsored Posts
While we do our best to cover local events and get information out to the community in a speedy fashion, that unfortunately isn’t always possible. If you have a tidbit of information that isn’t time sensitive, then please contact us and we’ll consider including it.
If you’re looking to have a business or a product reviewed/featured, there are two options to have it put on this site in a timely fashion. For $200 we’ll put a post together for you based on the information you supply, and/or possibly review a product for you. If you’re interested in that option, please click here.
If you’re willing to create all the content yourself and supply any images (up to a maximum of two), we offer a reduced rate of $100 per entry. Please note that all content is subject to editorial control and that we reserve the right to reject any submissions (at which point we’d offer a full refund).
