Garrison Village Coming Along
Most of the units still are in the process of being leased it looks like, but progress is definitely being made on the new Garrison Village. I’ve been trying to determine when places will start opening up in there, but so far it’s not obvious to me. While some commercial units have signs indicating what will be going in there (so far I’m pretty excited about Waves Coffee opening up, since I spend so much time in coffee shops), most units are still pretty bare inside, which leads me to believe they are targeting a spring opening.
There’a sushi place opening up in the Village as well, plus a Wine Store. I’m hoping there’s a little hole in the wall pub somewhere, but so far I haven’t seen anything like that.
I was going to pester you to see if you’d noticed any progess over there, since I nearly never think to turn the car towards Garrison when I’m out. A new, non Starbucks/Tim Ho coffee shop excites me in ways it probably shouldn’t. I can also live in joyful hope that THIS may finally be a sushi joint that doesn’t serve rolls the size of hubcaps.
It’s literally like a block from me, so it’ll be good for me to venture out from time to time and do some work there. I hope they put in decent (i.e. free) wireless.
